Why can J. Hilburn sell the same products as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom for around half the price?

Because we sell direct to the customer and cut out the middle person, such as the department store, we are able to eliminate the mark up these department stores take. We source from the same mills and factories as prominent luxury brands, because we always want to sell the best product possible.

What products do you currently offer?

Our custom and personalized product categories include custom dress shirts, made-to-measure trousers and personalized suiting. Customers are able to create these products to coordinate with their own style and fit specifications. We continue to build our lifestyle brand through ready-to-wear products such as cashmere sweaters, Italian calfskin belts, neckwear, denim, cufflinks and more.

Can I be successful if I do not have a background in fashion or men's apparel?

Absolutely. In fact, most of our style advisors have never had experience in either. However, they do know what looks good on men and because of that, they build relationships with their clients.

What kind of time and commitment level do I need to give to be successful?

This depends on what you want. We have partners that are seeking incremental income and want to work a few hours a week, and we have partners that want to build a meaningful income over time. You have the opportunity to determine your goals and pursue your success. The secret is to stay engaged every week whether you work 5 or 15 hours.

How many partners do you currently have?

We have over 1,000 style advisors in more than 40 states.

What is my start up costs?

We have two start up options, the first is our Expanded Kit for $399, and the second is our Basic Kit for $99. The $399 Kit includes custom product training and the ability to earn your Kit cost back. The $99 Kit is limited to ready to wear products and you are not eligible to earn your Kit cost back.

How do I know J. Hilburn will be around in a few years?

J. Hilburn is backed by the venture capital firm Battery Ventures (www.battery.com), which allows us to have a strong balance sheet.
